Our finest double-bore polymer stethoscope tubing. Inner diameter of bore is 4 mm and outer diameter is 10 mm. Here you can buy it by the inch. If you want 20 inches for a stethoscope, that's 16.80. We have sold stethoscopes with ReadyflexTM tubing for over two decades and they have proven durable and well liked. ReadyflexTM tubing is an exclusive product of Medworks Instruments. It is a single piece--the two tubes are connected by a continuous panel of ReadyflexTM material. This prevents the tubes from rubbing each other in use and making distracting noises, and it makes the stethoscope much more compact. ReadyflexTM tubing is extremely flexible, far more flexible than any other tubing we know, and makes the stethoscope much easier to put in your pocket or bag. It is high-density, far more dense than other tubings we have seen, for superior sound reflection and higher sensitivity. It is made of a material that is age-resistant. Rubber and latex will crack with age while High Tech ReadyflexTM will not. In fact, our stock that is 20 years old hasn't changed detectably in all that time. This stuff is immortal. In a million years when the aliens are digging up the last decaying artifacts of man, if they find our Readyflex tubing, they'll probably say "that's some good tubing! Hey, we could use this stuff to connect our main grozblot to all our tertiary narflargs, dare I say it, even the secondary narflargs!" We here at Medworks hope we have brought a smile to your day. The connecting panel between the tubes does not break or tear in normal use. Note:We're now down to the last of the readyflex tubing. All that is left are a few precut lengths to some specific lengths. I can no longer accept an order for any arbitrary length. Here are the lengths remaining as of the time of this writing (10-17-2017):
9.5 inches (probably unsellable, I will retain as a sample if I am in a position to get more made) 7.5 inches (same as 9.5). 2 inches (good as a sample maybe)
Please restrict yourself to ordering one of these lengths, though I'll accept an order for 13 inches or less; could I cut the 27 inch one into a 13 and a 14? Yes. Would anyone WANT stethoscope tubing that is only 13 inches long? It is hard to fathom. But the original sprague rappaport actually came with 10 inch tubing so it's possible. But you'd need to be uncomfortably close to the patient if it's that short. So if you want something shorter or something that doesn't fit with these lengths in a reasonable way, I can't oblige, I don't want to be left with more strips that are 7 inches long or some other unsellable quantity, you see. If you want the 9.5 inch strip (now that would make for a short stethoscope tubing), just enter in a quantity of 9. It's down to the nitties and the gritties, and probably the only one left that anyone could possibly want is the 27 inch one.
