We stand behind everything we sell. Some items are covered by the manufacturer's guarantee and you should follow the instructions they give you on their "Guarantee" literature. If an item fails due to a manufacturing defect we will take care of it. This may mean we will replace the item. It may mean we will repair the item. We reserve the right to use our judgment in each case. We do not have many failures of our products because we only sell the best. Lumiscope blood pressure monitors have Lifetime calibration warranties, as do Mabis. 

SHIPPING COSTS

Until recently, UPS was used for all shipping. But their prices and behavior reflect that they think they have a monopoly on the shipping market even though they don't. For anything that is quite heavy, an educated decision between UPS and Fedex will be made. For anything that is sufficiently light, USPS will be used. Please provide special instructions in your comment field if you do not want to pay for delivery confirmation or insurance and understand that in doing so, you take on all responsibility for whatever happens during shipping. If the item is defective and not broken as a result of shipping, that is Medwork Instruments's fault and the return policy is as always. If it is damage done by the courier service (for instance, once a mailman folded a packet in 2 to fit it in a mailbox and snapped in two a dozen queensquare hammer handles!), then that was the risk you took. It's up to you. I myself would not pay for either if it involves shipping something that costs less than 20 dollars because the probability of it being lost or broken in transit is small enough to make insurance a sucker-bet, but the decision is yours.  

 We ship per your instructions - and notify you by email when we ship (usually within 24 hours). If the box is returned because you do not pick it up or do not respond to a notice of attempt to deliver we will refund for the instruments but not for the shipping because we have already paid for the postage/service. They will not refund this charge to us. Please see our shipping rule table to see your order cost based on weight.
